Safe Environments Training

It is the responsibility of everyone: administrators, teachers, staff, as well as our committed parents and volunteers to help create a safe environment for all of our children.  As part of this commitment, we are all asked to complete a Safe Environment Training program online (called Armatus Online Training) to volunteer in the school.

All volunteers working directly with children are REQUIRED to complete the online course prior to volunteering in any capacity within the school.  This requirement is mandated by the Diocese of Norwich for the safety of our children.  You only need to take the on-line course once.

How can I register to complete Armatus Online Training?

In order to access and register for the on-line course, you will need to call SJS Office @ (860) 388 0849 or email Mrs. Breault, school administrator - secretary@saintjohnschoolos.org. Upon receipt of your logon information, you can access the Safety Environment Course (Armatus Online Training) online.

Once you have completed your course, be sure to bring a copy of the confirmation verification to the school office for our records.

We look forward to a year full of activities at St. John School.  The success of our school is based on your involvement.  Thank you for taking the time to educate yourself on the many ways we work together to keep children safe.

Sincerely,
Mother Elaine Moorcroft, Principal
