Fourth Grade - Mrs. Poeschl

About Your Teacher

My name is MaryAnne Poeschl and I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade at St. John School! I have been a parent, volunteer, and religion teacher at St John for the past 10+ years. All of my five children graduated from St John, but I am so blessed to get to stay!

I graduated from Hunter College in NYC with an MSEd. My last job before I moved to CT was with the NYS Board of Education as the Transition Coordinator for special education HS students residing in the borough of Manhattan

I am passionate about Catholic education. I know the commitment and sacrifices involved in choosing Catholic education for your child. I look forward to challenging my students to grow spiritually as well as academically.
